In the upcoming Premier League match, Bournemouth, currently enjoying a solid form with an unbeaten streak of three games, will face Liverpool who have been struggling with their form, drawing their last four league matches. Despite Bournemouth's lower league position, recent performances suggest they could secure a win or draw against a Liverpool side that has seen inconsistent results. Key players for both teams face injuries, adding intrigue to the predicted lineups. This clash at Vitality Stadium presents an opportunity for the Cherries to further challenge top-tier teams.

Liverpool have a 20-2 advantage against Bournemouth, alongside three draws.

Bournemouth Rarely Lose

Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth are in decent form and have lost just two of their last nine in all competitions.

The Cherries’ only recent losses came away at Brentford 4-1 and at home against Arsenal 3-2. Bournemouth responded to the Arsenal defeat with a 3-2 win at Tottenham and a 2-2 FA Cup draw against Newcastle.

Iraola’s side continued their unbeaten streak with a 1-1 draw at Brighton. Marcus Tavernier scored a first-half penalty and Bournemouth had 1.28 XG before conceding in the 91st minute.

Liverpool Dropping EPL Points

Liverpool are winless in six of their last nine Premier League matches. The Merseysiders have also drawn four consecutive league games.

The Reds drew 0-0 at home with Leeds, 2-2 at Fulham and 0-0 against Arsenal. They ended that run of stalemates with a 4-1 FA Cup victory against Barnsley before drawing 1-1 against Burnley.

Arne Slot’s side bounce back with a 3-0 Champions League triumph at Marseille. Dominik Szoboszlai and Cody Gakpo were on target and Liverpool had 1.46 XG.

Attackers Justin Kluivert, Ben Gannon-Doak and Enes Unal are injured. Defender Matai Akinmboni and midfielders Tyler Adams and David Brooks are also out with injuries.

Marcus Tavernier came off with an injury against Brighton. Andoni Iraola confirmed the midfielder’s absence for the upcoming fixtures and said, “He is injured. At the end, he has felt his hamstring, and he will be out for some time.”

Liverpool (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Jeremie Frimpong, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, Milos Kerkez; Dominik Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch; Mohamed Salah, Alexis Mac Allister, Florian Wirtz; Hugo Ekitike

Defensive pair Conor Bradley and Giovanni Leoni are sidelined due to injury. Striker Alexander Isak is unavailable due to a broken leg.

Federico Chiesa is likely to return to the squad after a recent knock. Arne Slot explained the winger’s absence against Marseille and said, “We took him with us because we don't expect it to be a long-term injury... We were hoping that maybe he would have been fit in time. But he wasn't. He tried in the warm-up, but he wasn't able to play.”

Verdict

Bournemouth have been solid in recent matches and Liverpool are lacking Premier League form. The Cherries can extend their unbeaten run with a win or draw at the Vitality.
