Bournemouth Are BTTS Regulars

Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth average a league high of 3.26 goals per game in the Premier League. The Cherries have seen BTTS in 67% of their matches in 2025/26.

Bournemouth have also seen 19 total goals in their last five home matches, with BTTS occurring in each fixture. They lost 3-2 to Arsenal, beat Tottenham and Liverpool 3-2 and drew 1-1 with Aston Villa in their previous four at home.

The south coast outfit followed the Villa draw with a 2-1 comeback win at Everton. Bournemouth allowed 2.95 XG and scored two second-half goals.

Iraola’s side drew 0-0 at West Ham on Saturday. The Cherries had five shots on target, allowed 3.28 XG and held out for a point.

Sunderland Leaky Away in the EPL

Sunderland are one of the Premier League’s most out-of-form away sides and are winless in eight on the road. Regis Le Bris’ team have failed to keep a clean sheet in seven of those fixtures.

The Black Cats have conceded exactly three goals in their previous three on the road. Sunderland lost at Brentford 3-0, West Ham 3-1 and Arsenal 3-0, allowing 1.5 XG or more in each game.

The Wearside outfit followed the Arsenal defeat with a 1-0 home loss to Liverpool and faced 23 shots.

Sunderland’s Premier League losing streak extended to three matches after a 3-1 defeat to Fulham. Le Bris’ side had 1.85-1.88 XG and Enzo Le Fee scored a late penalty.

Bournemouth (4-2-3-1): Dorde Petrovic; Alex Jimenez, James Hill, Marco Senesi, Adrien Truffert; Alex Scott, Tyler Adams; Rayan, Eli Junior Kroupi, Amine Adli; Evanilson

Defender Julio Soler, striker Justin Kluivert and attacker Ben Gannon-Doak are sidelined due to injury.

Sunderland (4-2-3-1): Robin Roefs; Lutsharel Geertruida, Dan Ballard, Omar Alderete, Trai Hume; Noah Sadiki, Granit Xhaka; Eliezer Mayenda, Enzo Le Fee, Nilson Angulo; Wilson Isidor

Full-back Reinildo Mandava is ruled out due to a knee issue. Winger Bertrand Traore is doubtful with a knee injury and defender Dennis Cirkin has a thigh problem.

Jocelin Ta Bi, Brian Brobbey, Nordi Mukiele and Romaine Mundle all came off injured against Fulham and are doubtful here.

Regis Le Bris was unsure over the quartet’s fitness post-match and said, “It's a bit early to say, so we had Nordi (Mukiele), Jocelin (Ta Bi), Brian (Brobbey), maybe Romaine (Mundle) as well, so it was a tough day.”

Verdict
