Liverpool is set to capitalize on their home advantage at Anfield against a West Ham team that struggles on the road. Liverpool has won their last three matches and has a history of scoring over 2.5 goals in recent games. With West Ham's unconvincing away record, the prediction leans towards a Liverpool victory with multiple goals scored. The match is expected to be high-scoring, reflecting Liverpool's strong form and West Ham's defensive vulnerabilities.

H2H - Big Reds Advantage

Liverpool have an 87-29 advantage against West Ham, alongside 38 draws.

Liverpool Dominate at Anfield

Arne Slot’s Liverpool average 1.98 XG at Anfield in the Premier League this season, the highest home XG in the division.

The Reds are in strong home form, winning three of their previous four on Merseyside. Liverpool beat Qarabag 6-0, Newcastle 4-1 and Brighton 3-0 and had over 2 XG in all three matches.

The Merseysiders followed the Brighton victory with a 1-0 league win at Nottingham Forest. Alexis Mac Allister scored a 97th-minute winner as Liverpool had 1.73-1.19 XG.

West Ham Unconvincing Away in the EPL

West Ham have struggled away in the Premier League this season and are winless in nine of their last 11. The Hammers have seen 16 total goals in their previous five on the road.

The London side lost 3-0 at Man City and Wolves before beating Tottenham 2-1 away. A 3-2 defeat at Chelsea and a 2-0 win at Burnley followed.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side then held Man United to a 1-1 home draw, attempting 1.11 XG.

West Ham drew for a second consecutive match following a 0-0 home stalemate with Bournemouth. The Hammers had the better chances with 3.28 XG and 20 shots, but neither side could find the net.
Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Liverpool (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Dominik Szoboszlai, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, Milos Kerkez; Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister; Mohamed Salah, Florian Wirtz, Cody Gakpo; Hugo Ekitike

Defensive pair Conor Bradley and Giovanni Leoni won’t feature due to knee injuries. Midfielder Wataru Endo and striker Alexander Isak are also out due to long-term injuries.

Full-back Jeremie Frimpong could return for the West Ham game and midfielder Florian Wirtz missed the Forest game with a back injury.

Arne Slot explained that Wirtz was left out as a precaution and said, “We don't think it is very serious, but he felt his back too much during the warm-up.

“He wasn't able to be 100 per cent or even close, so we decided not to play him. We hope and expect he will be able to be with us again next week.”

West Ham (4-2-3-1): Mads Hermansen; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Axel Disasi, El Hadji Malick Diouf; Mateus Fernandes, Soungoutou Magassa; Jarrod Bowen, Tomas Soucek, Crysencio Summerville; Taty Castellanos

Midfielder Freddie Potts is suspended. Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is ruled out with a lower back problem and Felipe is unlikely to feature due to a calf injury.

Verdict

Liverpool have winning momentum in the Premier League and control games at Anfield. West Ham have struggled away against high-quality opponents and a high-scoring home win is the best bet.
