Leeds United are in fine home form, unbeaten in their last seven Premier League matches and securing safety from relegation. The Whites have a strong record at Elland Road, losing only five times in 18 games this season. Brighton, while maintaining European hopes, have slipped up in recent away matches and hold a narrow two-point lead in seventh place. With both sides having key absentees, Leeds' resilience at home makes a 'win or draw' bet strong value for this weekend's match.

Leeds Tough to Beat in the EPL

Leeds have successfully avoided relegation from the Premier League. Daniel Farke’s side are seven points above the bottom three with two games left.

Home form has been key to the Whites' 2025/26 campaign and they are unbeaten in 13 of 18 matches at Elland Road. The Yorkshire team are undefeated in three consecutive home matches, drawing 0-0 with Brentford and beating Wolves 3-0 and Burnley 3-1.

Leeds extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to seven games after a 1-1 draw at Tottenham. The Whites conceded first, hit back with 1.34 XG and Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored a late penalty.

Brighton Dropping Points Away

Brighton remain in European contention in the Premier League. The Seagulls are seventh with a two-point advantage over Brentford.

Fabian Hurzeler's side were on a three-match winning streak before a 2-2 stalemate at Tottenham. Brighton then beat Chelsea 3-0 at home before a 3-1 loss away against Newcastle.

The Sussex outfit recovered and kept their European hopes alive with a 3-0 home win against Wolves. Jack Hinshelwood and Lewis Dunk scored in the first five minutes and Yankuba Minteh added a late third.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Leeds (3-5-2): Karl Darlow; Joe Rodon, Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw; Dan James, Anton Stach, Sean Longstaff, Ao Tanaka, James Justin; Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Brenden Aaronson

Midfielder Ilia Gruev, forward Noah Okafor and defensive pair Jayden Bogle and Gabriel Gudmundsson are sidelined with injuries.

Defender Pascal Struijk is unlikely to play due to a groin issue and midfielder Ethan Ampadu is doubtful following recent illness.

Daniel Farke was unconfident about Ampadu’s chances of featuring against Brighton and said, “Ethan Ampadu is struggling with illness currently. Also, a major doubt, he was not in training today.”

Brighton (4-2-3-1): Bart Verbruggen; Ferdi Kadioglu, Jan Paul van Hecke, Lewis Dunk, Maxim De Cuyper; Carlos Baleba, Pascal Gross; Yankuba Minteh, Jack Hinshelwood, Georginio Rutter; Danny Welbeck

Attacking duo Stefanos Tzimas and Kaoru Mitoma are ruled out through injury. Centre-back Adam Webster is unavailable due to a long-term knee issue.

Striker Diego Gomez and defender Mats Wieffer are expected to return for the Leeds match. Fabian Hurzeler confirmed Gomez’s availability in his pre-match press conference and said, "He will definitely be an option for Sunday.”

Verdict

Leeds are in good Premier League form and rarely lose. Brighton’s away form has declined recently and the Whites can win or draw at Elland Road.
