H2H - Red Devils Dominant

Man United have a 96-58 advantage against Tottenham, alongside 52 draws.

Man United Look Confident

Man United have climbed into the Premier League’s top four following a seven-match winless run. The Red Devils have won four games during that spell, including three home victories.

United have won all three matches under interim boss Michael Carrick. This upturn in form started with a 2-0 home win over Man City and a 3-2 victory at Arsenal.

The Red Devils extended their winning streak with a 3-2 home win against Fulham. Casemiro and Matheus Cunha scored and Fulham pulled two goals back before Benjamin Sesko scored a 94th minute winner.

Tottenham Struggling in the EPL

Thomas Frank’s Tottenham are struggling in the Premier League. Spurs are 14th and have failed to win in eight of their last nine league matches, losing four.

The North Londoners lost three domestic games in a row against Bournemouth 3-2, Aston Villa 2-1 and West Ham 2-1. Spurs ended that streak with a 2-2 draw at Burnley.

Tottenham drew again on Sunday after a 2-2 home stalemate against Man City. Frank’s team were 2-0 down at half time and Dominic Solanke struck twice in the second period.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Man United (4-2-3-1): Senne Lammens; Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw; Casemiro, Kobbie Mainoo; Amad Diallo, Bruno Fernandes, Matheus Cunha; Bryan Mbeumo

Defender Matthijs de Ligt has a lower back injury and winger Patrick Dorgu is unavailable with a thigh injury.

Mason Mount is likely to return after missing the Fulham game with a knock. Michael Carrick was positive about the midfielder’s condition and said, "Just took a bit of a knock in training, it is nothing serious, he will be back very very soon."

Tottenham (4-3-3): Guglielmo Vicario; Djed Spence, Cristian Romero, Micky Van de Ven, Destiny Udogie; Conor Gallagher, Joao Palhinha, Yves Bissouma; Randal Kolo Muani, Dominic Solanke, Xavi Simons

Defenders Kevin Danso, Ben Davies and Pedro Porro and attackers Richarlison, Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Bergvall are ruled out. Midfielders James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski are also injured.

Micky van de Ven is expected to return following a minor injury. Thomas Frank provided a recent update on the defender and said, “Micky is a minor [injury], I fully expect him to be back to face Manchester United [next weekend].”

Verdict

Man Unied are the form team heading into this clash and the Red Devils are tough to beat. Tottenham are lacking rhythm this season and in-form United can win in the Premier League.
