Nottingham Forest are struggling to adapt under Oliver Glasner and Arsenal are in top form. The Gunners control Premier League matches and can win again at the City Ground.

  • Nottingham Forest have lost 4 of their last 6 matches against Arsenal.
  • Arsenal have won their last 2 matches.

H2H - Arsenal Advantage

Nottingham Forest Struggle at the City Ground

Nottingham Forest are an inconsistent side and lack home form. The Tricky Trees are winless in their last six competitive games at the City Ground, losing three.

All three home defeats have come this season. Forest lost their opening two games against Leeds 1-0 and 2-0 and were beaten 1-0 against Coventry.

Oliver Glasner’s side also lost 3-1 away at Crystal Palace on Sunday. The Reds were wasteful with 3.34 XG, missing eight big chances and Dan Ndoye’s goal wasn’t enough to secure the win.

Arsenal Have Winning Momentum

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal made a flying start to the new season and won their opening seven games. The Gunners kept five clean sheets and won four away matches in that run.

The North Londoners’ only loss this season was a 3-0 defest at third place Brighton. Arsenal responded and beat Leeds 2-1 at home with 2.33 XG and 58% possession.

The Gunners sealed a second consecutive win and comfortably beat Lille 3-0 in the Champions League. Jurrien Timber, Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka scored and Arsenal dominated with 1.7-0.3 XG.

Martin Zubimendi is expected to return after missing the Lille match with an ankle issue. Mikel Arteta was hopeful the midfielder would recover for the Forest match and said:

"Zubi I expect, yeah [only days]. We have to see the moment he goes on that pitch, how he deals with the pain and some small feelings that he will have."

Verdict
