Nottingham Forest Improving

Vítor Pereira was named as Nottingham Forest’s new manager following Sean Dyche’s dismissal.

The Tricky Trees were in solid form even before Sean Dyche’s dismissal. They were undefeated in seven of nine games in all competitions.

Forest dominated Wolves in a 0-0 draw in Dyche’s last game in charge. The Midlands side had 2.55-0.42 and 35 shots but couldn’t find the net.

Pereira oversaw another dominant performance in his first game as Forest thumped Fenerbahce 3-0. Murillo, Igor Jesus and Morgan Gibbs-White scored and the Tricky Trees had 2.73 XG.

Liverpool Patchy on the Road

Arne Slot’s Liverpool are three points off the Premier League’s top four after an inconsistent campaign. The Reds have struggled away and are winless in eight of 13 fixtures on the road.

Liverpool dropped points following away draws at Fulham 2-2 and Arsenal 0-0 and a 3-2 loss against Bournemouth. Slot’s side had -1 XG in two of those games.

The Merseysiders responded with a 1-0 victory at Sunderland before beating Brighton 3-0 at home in the FA Cup. Liverpool allowed 1.29 XG, faced 18 shots and Curtis Jones, Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah scored.
