Tottenham and Arsenal are set for a high-stakes North London Derby, with both teams struggling defensively in recent matches. This vulnerability at the back for both sides suggests a high-scoring game is on the cards. Betting enthusiasts might consider focusing on over 2.5 goals scored and both teams to score, given the odds of 1.89 and 1.91, respectively, with an increased wager for over 3.5 goals at 3.25. Fans should prepare for an exciting, action-packed match that promises lots of goals.

H2H - Loads of Recent Goals

Arsenal have a 90-67 advantage against Tottenham, alongside 55 draws.

Tottenham BTTS Specialists at Home

Tottenham sacked Thomas Frank and appointed Igor Tudor on an interim basis until May. Tudor will be tasked with stopping Spurs’ Premier League slide following an eight-match winless run, with 14 goals conceded.

The North Londoners score and concede in most home matches. They have seen BTTS in 69% of Premier League home games this season.

Spurs are winless in five consecutive league home fixtures, seeing BTTS in each match. Tottenham have also seen over 2XG in their previous three games at home.

Frank’s last game in charge was a 2-1 home defeat against Newcastle. Spurs had 1.85-2.48 XG, conceded first and Archie Gray equalised before Newcastle scored a late winner.

Arsenal Less Convincing at the Back

Arsenal have a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League over Man City. Mikel Arteta’s side could see their lead cut to two points if Man City beat Newcastle on Saturday.

The Gunners have wobbled in the title race after dropping points in five of their previous seven fixtures. Arsenal have let in six goals during this period, nearly a third of their total Premier League goals conceded for the campaign.

Arteta’s outfit are winless in back-to-back away games, starting with a 1-1 stalemate at mid-table Brentford.

The North London outfit also gave up a 2-0 lead and were held to a 2-2 draw against bottom of the table Wolves. Bukayo Saka and Piero Hincapie scored either side of half time before Arsenal shipped two goals in the final 30 minutes.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Tottenham (3-4-2-1): Guglielmo Vicario; Joao Palhinha, Radu Dragusin, Micky Van de Ven; Archie Gray, Yves Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr, Djed Spence; Conor Gallagher, Xavi Simons; Dominic Solanke.

Centre-back Cristian Romero is suspended. Midfield trio James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, and Rodrigo Bentancur are sidelined with long-term injuries.

Defenders Pedro Porro, Kevin Danso, Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies are injured. Attackers Richarlison, Mohammed Kudus, Lucas Begvall and Wilson Odobert are also out due to injury.

Arsenal (4-2-3-1): David Raya; Jurrien Timber, William Saliba, Gabriel, Piero Hincapie; Martin Zubimendi, Declan Rice; Noni Madueke, Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard; Viktor Gyokeres

Midfield duo Max Dowman and Mikel Merino are ruled out due to long-term injuries.

Attacker Kai Havertz and midfielder Martin Odegaard could return to the squad on Sunday. Mikel Arteta was positive that the pair would recover in time and said, "We have to wait until tomorrow, there is a big possibility that they are available.”

Verdict

Tottenham and Arsenal have had plenty of defensive issues recently. Clean sheets are rare between these sides and over 2.5 goals and BTTS are the best picks.
