Leicester are tipped to beat Walsall with over 2.5 goals in the match, highlighting Leicester's attacking quality and Walsall's defensive vulnerabilities. An additional selection is over 3.5 goals, reflecting expectations of a high-scoring contest. The main recommendation is Leicester & Over 2.5 Goals, with the Foxes' ability to score and Walsall's leaky defence cited as key factors. Leicester Eyeing Momentum

Russell Martin’s Leicester are second in EFL Trophy Group J. The Foxes thrashed Fulham U21 6-1 at home before a 2-1 loss at Stevenage.

Leicester are undefeated in five of their seven matches since the Stevenage defeat, winning four. They are on a three-match unbeaten run after beating Wigan 3-0 at home and drawing 2-2 against Stevenage.

The Midlands outfit secured a second win in three with a 4-2 FA Cup victory against non-league Oxford City. Louis Page, Emil Riis, Kamari Doyle and Tom Watson scored and Leicester had nine shots on target.

Big Recent Defeats for Walsall

Walsall started their EFL Trophy campaign with a heavy 6-1 home defeat against Stevenage. They hit back and beat Fulham U21 3-2.

The Saddlers are winless in three of their previous five in all competitions, including two defeats. Lee Grant’s team were thrashed 4-2 at home against Salford before defeating Colchester 3-1 away in League Two.

A 3-1 FA Cup defeat at Newport followed. Walsall led through Andrew Dallas’ early opener, faced five shots on target, and conceded three goals.
