The BLAST R6 Major Osaka 2026 will be played from November 6 to November 15 at ATC Hall in Osaka, Japan, as the second BLAST R6 Major of the season.
The tournament succeeds the Esports World Cup as the fourth international Six Siege esports event of the year, and is the final S-Tier competition before Six Invitational 2027.
The tournament will welcome 20 teams from Europe and MENA, North America, South America, China, Asian sub-regions, Oceania, and Asia Pacific.
By including the world’s best quads, BLAST R6 Major Osaka is as stacked an R6 event as it gets, ensuring top-level matches as squads battle through the gruelling bracket on their way to the top.
While there is no lack of elite talent in attendance, the top-rated bookmakers have drawn a clear line between the top contenders and the rest, with FaZe Clan sitting atop the outright markets.
They, however, will have to deal with a handful of dangerous outsiders, who will be just as hungry to prove their worth and make a run to the prestigious trophy.
BLAST R6 Major Osaka 2026 Format
BLAST R6 Major Osaka will run from November 6 to 15 and is divided into three stages.

BLAST R6 Major Osaka 2026 Favourites
Out of 20 teams heading to Osaka, only a handful stand out as potential title candidates in the outright betting markets.
FaZe Clan lead the way as the main favourites, having qualified for the major as South America’s first seed. The two-time back-to-back world champions dominated the second stage of one of the world’s strongest R6 leagues, which alone proves they have the tools to succeed in Japan.
And while winning a Major is no small feat, if FaZe do it, they would become the first team to win all six big events – Six Invitational, a BLAST R6 Major, and the Esports World Cup.
While FaZe are the team to watch, there are other rosters worth keeping an eye on. That includes Team Falcons, who are billed as FaZe’s main threat for the title.
Falcons are Europe and MENA champions and one of the most stacked lineups in the world, and previously won the Six Jönköping Major.
Known as a team that slips in the final stretches of big events, Team Falcons will look to break that curse in Japan and show the world that their quarterfinal exit in Salt Lake City was nothing more than a small bump in the road.
G2 Esports are not to be underestimated either. They placed third in Europe MENA Stage 2, but had previously left a positive impression in Salt Lake City, where they made the quarterfinals.
G2 haven’t won a Major since Six Paris Major, but haven't come close to repeating that success. Nevertheless, G2’s performances in Stage 2 looked inspiring, and if one thing is for sure, it’s that G2 Esports have the tools to compete at the highest level.
DarkZero Esports are the only other team listed at single digits on the outright markets. While the lowest-rated of the four top contenders, DZ are the defending BLAST R6 Major champions, which carries some weight.
On the other hand, their performance in Stage 2 has left a lot to be desired, so it is fair to question whether DarkZero can come close to the level they produced in Salt Lake City.
