BLAST R6 Major Osaka 2026, running from 6 to 15 November, features 20 top Rainbow Six teams. FaZe Clan enter as favourites due to their back-to-back world titles, but their inconsistent Major performances raise doubts. Team Liquid, with a roster boasting multiple championship wins and recent improvement, are tipped as a strong challenger. Liquid’s international experience and ability to trouble FaZe in past encounters make them a team to watch, even though they have not reached peak form this season. The tournament promises high-level competition and several potential title contenders.

BLAST R6 Major Osaka 2026 Tournament Betting Preview
The second Major of the R6 esports season is here, as the world’s top 20 Rainbow Six teams head to Osaka, Japan for the long-awaited showdown.

Running from November 6 to 15, BLAST R6 Major Osaka 2026 is the final Major event of the 2026 season ahead of The International 2027 and one of the year's biggest esports events.

The tournament will welcome 20 teams from around the world, who will battle it out for the prestigious trophy and the largest slice of the US$600,000 prize pool.

In attendance are all of the scene’s heavyweights, including the two-time back-to-back world champions, FaZe Clan, who are billed as the team to beat in Japan.

However, with other top dogs such as G2 Esports, DarkZero Esports, Team Falcons, 100 Thieves, and Geekay Esports in the mix, the road to the top will not be an easy one, not even for the most accomplished team of the last two years.

With a stacked field, BLAST R6 Major Osaka promises over a week of exciting action for esports fans, plus plenty of betting opportunities as you hunt for the best odds from esports bookmakers.

Here you can find our free BLAST R6 Major Osaka 2026 tournament betting preview with schedule, format, favourites, and outright odds from the top-rated R6 bookmakers.

BLAST R6 Major Osaka 2026 Favourites & Odds

BLAST R6 Major Osaka is a stacked tournament, featuring all of the best R6 esports teams from all corners of the world.

However, there’s a clear gap between the top contenders, outsiders, and teams who are unlikely to make it far – which mainly includes KINGZERO eSports, All Gamers, and TYLOO as three Chinese teams who are prime candidates to win the wooden spoon.

On the other side, titans such as FaZe Clan, Team Falcons, G2 Esports, and DarkZero are expected to show up, listed as the four biggest favourites on the outright markets.

G2 Esports should be making the playoffs, fielding a very stacked roster, which many would consider to be a superteam. They had a solid run in Europe EMEA Stage 2, and while G2 did not win the league, they didn't have to, and instead opted to play some weaker maps in the playoffs.

This is a potent team who can deliver on the big stage. But there are other contenders who should place higher, with a higher ceiling. Geekay may not fall in that category exactly, but they did beat G2 Esports in the Europe EMEA playoffs.

FaZe Clan are the most dominant R6 team in the world, having won the last two Six Invitationals. Given this roster’s dominance and raw quality, it comes as no surprise that they’re billed as the team to beat in Osaka.

However, FaZe are known to not perform at their best in Majors, and only really turn up at SI – a stigma they’ll want to wash away in Japan.

Team Falcons had an amazing run in their domestic league, having dominated the European region this season. The issue with Falcons is that they tend to underperform in international events, as shown in Salt Lake City, where they crashed out in the quarterfinals.

Team Liquid deserve a mention as a stacked roster with three players and a coach who’ve won the championship twice before. While Liquid haven’t won much this season, they placed second in South America League Stage 2 and reached the quarterfinals of the Esports World Cup – losing to FaZe Clan.

Liquid seem to be finding their form, and if they keep it up, they could go very far at BLAST R6 Major Osaka.

Besides esports betting platforms, traditional sportsbooks will also offer Major Osaka markets, giving punters plenty of options.

Verdict

BLAST R6 Major Osaka 2026 has a few strong contenders. FaZe Clan stand out as the most dominant R6 team of the last two years. However, they haven’t been as great in Majors, so it is fair to question whether they should be viewed as such big favourites.

Instead, I would focus on Team Liquid as a team who have been ramping up and one of the few teams in the world who’ve caused issues to FaZe Clan. Admittedly, Liquid are not at 100% yet, but this roster is packed with individual talent and international experience, and if there’s a situation where they’ll pop off, it’s at R6 BLAST Major.
