Horsens allowed six goal chances and 23 shots to Nordsjaelland last weekend, so I think they might suffer a disaster in Herning. A home win in handicap is the best bet.

The Wolves started the new Superliga campaign with a 3-2 thriller victory at Sonderjyske last weekend. Valdemar Byskov was named man of the match here with one goal and one assist. 

Their results in the Europa League qualifiers are underwhelming though, losing both games to Besiktas 1-0 & 2-0, but it’s worth adding the Danish side had one man sent off early in both encounters.     

Horsens are Back to Elite Division 


Horsens earned promotion to the top flight last season, finishing 2nd in 1. Division just above Esbjerg. Defense was their strongest link, allowing just 27 goals in 32 matches. 

After starting the pre-season campaign with a 2-0 win over Hobro, they recorded three straight defeats against FC Copenhagen 3-2, AGF Aarhus 2-0 and Vendsyssel 1-0. 

Niki Zimling’s side hosted Nordsjaelland last weekend and were lucky to take a 1-1 draw, allowing 2.66 xG, 70% possession and 23 shots to the opposition.
