Parma vs Juventus Live Stream & Tips - Juventus Tipped in Serie A

Juventus head into their Serie A clash against Parma in strong form, having secured eight wins in their last eleven matches. The Italian giants are expected to continue their winning streak with a low-scoring affair. Parma, struggling in the Serie A standings, will look to bounce back after a heavy defeat against Atalanta. Historically, Juventus has dominated recent head-to-head encounters against Parma. With both teams known for low goal tallies in recent matches, betting on Juventus with fewer than 4.5 total goals scored seems a wise choice.

Parma vs Juventus Predictions

Juventus have improved significantly in recent weeks, and they should have the edge in a potentially low-scoring Serie A contest.

I have a first stake on Juventus to win with under 4.5 goals, with a second bet placed on fewer than three goals scored.

Tight Away Win Likely

  • Parma lost 3 of their last 5 home matches
  • Parma have seen under 2.5 goals in their last 5 home matches
  • Juventus won 8 of their last 11 matches
  • Juventus have seen under 2.5 goals in 4 of their last 5 away matches

Juventus Dominate Recent H2H

Parma and Juventus have met on nine occasions since 2018. Juventus won six of those games, while Pama secured only one victory.

Parma Battered in Bergamo

Parma return to the Stadio Ennio Tardini after a crushing 4-0 defeat against Atalanta in Bergamo. Two goals scored in both halves ensured a miserable day out for Carlos Cuesta's men.

I Crociati have struggled to maintain consistency in performance this season. Parma won two, lost two and drew three of their last seven fixtures. Cuesta's side have dropped down to 15th in Serie A, only six points above the relegation zone.

A lack of firepower remains a serious problem for I Crociati. Parma failed to score in their last three matches, while they have scored just seven goals in 11 home Serie A games since August. An average of 1.8 goals per game was scored in those 11 fixtures.

Juventus Fumble in France

Juventus return to Serie A business after a lacklustre goalless draw against Monaco confirmed a 13th-place finish in the Champions League, league phase.

Already assured of a playoff spot, a weakened Juve selection failed to trouble the home defence, registering an XG of just 0.18.

Luciano Spalletti admitted he was unhappy with his side's performance against Monaco on Wednesday: “It’s difficult when the team isn’t functioning for one individual to be able to set the tempo and provide the right intensity against strong opponents.”

“We weren’t sharp in our build-up in the final third, and when the tempo drops and there are too many technical mistakes, it becomes hard to score against players of that level and physical presence.”

Spalletti's side have been in largely excellent form in the past couple of months. I Bianconeri won eight and lost only one of 11 previous fixtures since a 2-1 road loss at Napoli in early December.

That setback was avenged in emphatic style last weekend, as Juventus thrashed Napoli 3-0 to move into fifth place in Serie A, ten points behind leaders Inter.

On their travels, low-scoring outcomes have been frequent. Three of their last four away fixtures finished with under 2.5 goals, with an average of less than two goals per game scored in 11 Serie A road games this season.

Predicted Lineups and Team News

Parma (4-3-3) Edoardo Corvi; Enrico Del Prato, Alessandro Circati, Mariano Troilo, Sascha Britschgi; Adrian Bernabe, Mandela Keita, Oliver Sorensen; Emanuele Valeri, Mateo Pellegrino, Jacob Ondrejka.

Head coach Cuesta has a handful of selection issues this weekend. Matija Frigan, Zion Suzuki and Lautaro Valenti are confirmed absentees, while Abdoulaye Ndiaye and Pontus Almqvist are doubtful.

Juventus (4-2-3-1) Mattia Perin; Pierre Kalulu, Gleison Bremer, Lloyd Kelly, Andrea Cambiaso; Manuel Locatelli, Teun Koopmeiners; Weston McKennie, Fabio Miretti, Kenan Yildiz; Jonathan David.

Spalletti is likely to revert to the side that began last weekend's dominant 3-0 win against Napoli.

Injured quartet Daniele Rugani, Dusan Vlahovic, Jonas Rouhi and Arkadiusz Milik are expected to remain sidelined.

Verdict

Juventus can maintain their fine Serie A form with a low-scoring away win expected on Saturday. I'm backing Juventus to win with under 4.5 goals, while I also have a stake on less than three goals scored.
