Fiorentina and Crystal Palace are set to face off in the Conference League, with both teams showing similar form and quality. As a result, analysts see potential value in betting on a draw. Suggested bets include a 3.4 odds draw with 3 units and a 1-1 score draw with 7 odds on 1 unit. The recommendation hinges on the assessment that neither side holds a significant advantage, making a stalemate a plausible outcome.

Fiorentina vs Crystal Palace Preview

Fiorentina are hard to beat at home and Crystal Palace will want to keep things tight after a first-leg victory. A draw is likely in this Conference League quarter-final second leg.

Back to Back Crystal Palace Away Draws

  • Fiorentina are unbeaten in 4 consecutive home games.
  • Crystal Palace have drawn their last 2 away Conference League matches.

H2H

Crystal Palace beat Fiorentina 3-0 in the only previous encounter.

Fiorentina in Decent Home Form

Fiorentina have been tough to beat recently and have lost once in their previous eight games.

La Viola are undefeated in four home games during that run, including a 2-1 Conference League win over Rakow Czestochowa. Fiorentina followed that victory with a 1-1 draw against Serie A leaders Inter Milan.

Paolo Vanoli’s outfit continued their strong home form with a 1-0 home win against Lazio on Monday. Robin Gosens scored the winner after 28 minutes.

Crystal Palace Draw a Lot on the Road

Crystal Palace have drawn four of their previous six Conference League matches. Palace drew their last two European away games 1-1 at Zrinjski Mostar and AEK Larnaca.

The Eagles were on a run of three consecutive draws with two stalemates against Larnaca and a 0-0 draw with Leeds.

Oliver Galsner’s side ended that run with a 3-0 home victory over Fiorentina in the Conference League quarter-final. Palace had 17-8 shots and allowed 0.45 XG.

The South Londoners then beat Newcastle 2-1 to secure back-to-back wins for the first time since February. Palace were 1-0 down at half time and Jean-Philippe Mateta scored twice in the final 15 minutes.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Fiorentina (4-3-3): David de Gea; Luis Balbo, Marin Pongracic, Luca Ranieri, Robin Gosens; Giovanni Fabbian, Nicolo Fagioli, Cher Ndour; Jack Harrison, Roberto Piccoli, Albert Gudmundsson

Defender Dodo was booked in the first leg at Crystal Palace and is suspended.

Full-backs Tariq Lamptey, Niccolo Fortini and Fabiano Parisi and attacker Moise Kean are injured.

Crystal Palace (3-4-2-1): Dean Henderson; Chris Richards, Maxence Lacroix, Jaydee Canvot; Daniel Munoz, Adam Wharton, Daichi Kamada, Tyrick Mitchell; Ismaila Sarr, Jorgen Strand-Larsen; Yeremy Pino

Midfielder Cheick Doucoure and forward Eddie Nketiah are injured and unavailable.

Evann Guessand has been ruled out with a knee injury. Oliver Glasner confirmed the attacker’s injury before the Newcastle match and said, “We had to make one because Evann was injured and he will miss the next at least 3-4 weeks.”

Verdict

Fiorentina and Crystal Palace are well-matched in form and quality. There is value on a Conference League draw between these similar sides.
