Skellefteå AIK vs HC Davos Prediction & Betting Tips - CHL 2026-27

Goals are expected in Sweden, including some early action, with Skellefteå AIK backed to cover the -1.5 puck line against HC Davos.

Skellefteå have been one of the most convincing teams through the opening three games, beating Nitra 6-1, Adler Mannheim 3-1 and Genève-Servette 3-2. That leaves the Swedish side with a perfect 3-0 record and a 12-4 aggregate score despite playing their opening two matches away from home.

Davos arrive with an identical 3-0 record and even greater attacking production, scoring 15 goals in victories over Storhamar, Eisbären Berlin and GKS Tychy. Both sides have scored at least three goals in every CHL match, making Over 5.5 an attractive option despite their strong defensive records.

There is also a strong case for early goals. Skellefteå and Davos have both scored during the first period in all three of their CHL matches, while BTTS First Period - Yes has landed in two of three games for each team. With both sides consistently starting on the front foot, another opening period featuring goals at both ends is worth backing.

  • Skellefteå have won all three CHL games and outscored their opponents 12-4.
  • Davos are also 3-0 and have scored 15 goals, averaging 5.0 per game.
  • Skellefteå and Davos have each scored in the first period in all three CHL matches.

Skellefteå AIK Form

Skellefteå followed road wins over Nitra and Mannheim with a 3-2 home victory against Genève-Servette. They have scored six, three and three across their three games, while no opponent has managed more than two goals against them.

Scoring depth has been one of Skellefteå's biggest strengths. Valter Lindberg was among their early offensive leaders with four points across the opening two matches, while Andreas Johnson, Jonathan Pudas, Oscar Lindberg and Hudson Fasching have all contributed to an attack that has consistently found different routes to goal.

Skellefteå have also produced offence immediately, scoring at least once in the opening period of all three games. That early attacking consistency is particularly interesting against another side that has yet to play a scoreless first period offensively.

HC Davos Form

Davos have been equally impressive, opening with a 3-2 overtime victory against Storhamar before crushing Eisbären Berlin 8-2 and beating GKS Tychy 4-2. They have scored 15 goals from three games and reached at least three in every appearance.

The Berlin performance remains the standout, with eight different Davos players scoring in a remarkably balanced offensive display. They then followed that eight-goal explosion with another four against Tychy, providing further evidence that their attacking production is not reliant on one line or one exceptional performance.

Davos have also scored during the first period of every CHL game so far, including three opening-period goals against Berlin and two against Tychy. With Skellefteå matching that 3/3 first-period scoring record and both teams seeing BTTS land before the first intermission twice, the early-goals market has plenty behind it.
