Boise State Set For Debut Campaign In Pac-12
Boise State usher in a new era in 2026, having made the jump from the Mountain West Conference to the Pac-12.
The Broncos enjoyed a successful final season in their old conference, as they walked away with the crown.
They made a strong start to their Mountain West campaign as they won four straight, only to stumble in November as they were beaten 30-7 by Fresno State and 17-7 at San Diego State.
Boise State rallied though, beating Colorado State 49-21 and Utah State 25-24 to seal a place in the conference championship, and they took the crown with a 38-21 win over UNLV.
The Broncos were unable to follow that up in the LA Bowl however, as they were beaten 38-10 by Washington.
Oregon Targeting National Championship Success
Oregon made it to the College Football Playoffs last season, only to fall short as they were beaten in the Peach Bowl.
The Ducks raced out of the blocks with five consecutive wins, only to suffer a 30-20 defeat when they entertained Indiana in October.
They issued a strong response as they won their final six games on the regular season calendar, but that one defeat to the Hoosiers was enough to keep them out of the Big Ten Championship Game.
It did not keep Oregon out of the playoffs though, and they downed James Madison 51-34 in the first round, before beating Texas Tech 23-0 in the Orange Bowl.
However, the Ducks missed out on a National Championship Game spot, as they were beaten 56-22 by eventual champions Indiana.

Oregon enter the season as a leading contender to win it all, and that is no surprise.
