Italy Continuing Their Dominant Run
Italy have won all six appearances so far at EuroVolley 2026 and are currently tagged massive favorites to go all the way at 4/6 odds.
Azzurri started the tournament in dominant fashion, cruising past Croatia 3-0 in sets while allowing just nine points to the opposition in the opening set, then claimed three more wins against Montenegro, Sweden and Slovakia (all 3-0).
They were slightly challenged in the final round by France, winning 3-1, while zero problems were registered in the Round of 16 clash against Bulgaria, claiming a 3-0 win and allowing just 44 points.
Sweden Looking for Another Upset
Sweden made it to the European Championship quarterfinals for the second time in the nation's history, matching their achievement from 2021.
They played group-stage matches in front of the home crowd in Goteborg, finishing 3rd with three victories and two defeats, beating Montenegro 3-0, Slovakia 3-2 and Croatia 3-2, while losing to Italy 3-0 and France 3-1.
The Scandinavian side were tagged underdogs in the Round of 16 against the Czech Republic, which was played in Brno, but claimed a surprising 3-0 victory to make it to the quarterfinals.
