Miami head out on the road once again knowing that one more loss will end their season following back-to-back defeats at home.

The Heat went 46-36 during the regular-season to claim a place in the Play-In Tournament, and they needed two attempts in that to finally make the playoffs.

They suffered a 105-104 defeat in Philadelphia in their first Play-In game, only to rebound with 112-91 home win against Chicago to advance.

Miami then bounced back from a 114-94 defeat in Boston in Game 1, levelling the series with a 111-101 upset of the Celtics in the second meeting.

However, the Heat failed to build on that victory when they returned home for the next two games, losing 104-84 and 102-88.

Boston return home with an opportunity to clinch the series in Game 5 thanks to back-to-back road wins.

The Celtics put together an NBA-best 64-18 record during the regular season, securing top spot in the Eastern Conference and home court advantage for the playoffs.

They ended the regular season in good form too, winning 16 of their final 20 games, and they started the postseason with a 114-94 win over Miami.

Boston then suffered a surprise 111-101 home defeat in the second game of the series, but their response on the road was a strong one.

The Celtics recorded two blowout wins in Miami to take control of the series, beating the Heat 104-84 and 102-88.
