The Canadian side was nowhere close to ending this miserable run last weekend, suffering another defeat 97-83 to Portland Fire. Nyara Sabally was their top performer here with 17 points and five rebounds.
Dream Looking to Regain Their Rhythm
Atlanta Dream have been one of the strongest teams in the Eastern Conference this season, entering this clash in second place with a 19-12 record and solid form.
Their series of five straight victories ended in early August with a convincing home defeat against the champions Las Vegas Aces 109-87, struggling defensively and allowing 62% shooting from the field while making just 4 out of 24 three-point attempts.
The Georgian side returned to winning ways instantly by beating Phoenix Mercury 96-82, but then had a disappointing performance last weekend, losing at Washington Mystics 79-74, where they had just 32% field-goal shooting.
