Jason Behrendorff is a seasoned T20 left-arm fast-medium bowler with 218 wickets to his credit at an average of 22.68, while fellow left-arm quick Ramon Simmonds has taken six wickets in his last three matches.

Lahore Qalandars Upset the Odds last time out


The Qalandars got off to a winning start in the opening match of the Global Super League season, beating the Perth Scorchers by 16 runs.

Shayan Jahangir hit three sixes in his 45-ball 65 as the Qalandars slipped to 80/3 off 11.5 overs. Farhan Yousaf continued his good form with a 23-ball 50 that included five sixes to lift the Qalandars to 171/7 off their 20 overs.

Usama Mir (2/35) picked up two wickets in the innings for the fifth match in a row as the Qalandars put the squeeze on the Scorchers. Mohammad Imran (2/18) picked up two of the Scorchers’ top four batters as they kept them down to 155/7 off their 20 overs.
