Sussex Suffered Defeat in Opener


Sussex lost to Glamorgan by 12 runs in their opening One-Day Cup Group B match at Neath. Sussex scored 283/8 in their 50 overs, falling short of the 295/8 posted by Glamorgan.

Fynn Hudson-Prentice was the standout bowler, taking 5/62. Hudson-Prentice (63 off 70 balls), Jack Carson (81 off 72), and Tom Price (55 off 58) kept Sussex in the match, before eventually being dismissed.

Fynn Hudson-Prentice has taken six wickets in his last three matches and Jack Carson has taken five wickets in his last four matches.
