FUT Esports started VALORANT Champions 2026 with a 2-0 sweep of JD Gaming, who did not show much resistance. FUT Esports dominated Ascent 13-1, but needed to dig deeper on Summit, winning the decider 13-10.
On Summit, FUT Esports started strong, winning the first half 8-4, but then turned into a pumpkin and struggled in the second half, going 2-9. While FUT ended up ahead, they showed one of their main weaknesses: inconsistency.
FUT tend to be a momentum-reliant team that must get the ball rolling early. Moreover, they rely a lot on their firepower, which helps them dominate weaker teams, and catch some tier-1 teams off guard.
