FURIA Are Holding on Well
FURIA started their IEM Cologne Major campaign in Stage 3 and have so far won both games. First, the Brazilian squad swept B8, and in the second round, they added a very solid 2-1 victory against MOUZ.
The latter game was not very close. While FURIA lost Inferno 5-13, they looked excellent on Nuke (13-5) and Overpass (13-7). A lot of their success on the day was thanks to molodoy, who posted a 1.46 rating, with yuurih an YEKINDAR close behind at 1.30 and 1.11.
Seeing FURIA go 2-0 to start the tournament is promising, as they’ve been a bit all over the place with their results ahead of the Major, and they’ve been away from action for nearly a month. However, this is a solid, experienced roster who have the tools to make it far.

Verdict
FURIA are the more experienced team of the two, and enter this match as favourites. However, there are arguments to be made that the two squads should be considered fairly equal.
BetBoom Team are on a roll, having won all but one of their eight games played at the Major. That includes two impressive victories against MongolZ and Falcons. Moreover, they have a deep map pool, with a stronger win rate on four maps in the rotation, including Anubis, Ancient, and Nuke. And Dust II.
This ensures BB Team will be in a great spot to win at least one map, and from there, they can easily come out ahead.
