BIG Have Potential
BIG have fought their way to Round 5 of Stage 2 from the first stage of IEM Cologne Major, where they scraped by with a 3-2 record and wins against Gaimin Gladiators, THUNDERdOWNUNDER, and NRG. The latter game required an incredible comeback from 0-12, so luck played its part in BIG reaching the second stage.
In Stage 2, BIG have so far beaten paiN Gaming and MiBR, and lost against Monte and G2 Esports. The latter was a one-sided stomp, but BIG deserve some slack as G2 are no pushovers.

B8 are just one win away from reaching Stage 3 of the Cologne Major, which, considering the fact that they started the event in Stage 1, is impressive. On the other hand, B8 haven’t really shown much.
In Stage 1, B8 went on a 3-0 run, but have only beaten TYLOO, M80, and THUNDERdOWNUNDER. Two of those teams (TYLOO and M80) made it to Stage 2, which counts for something. But then again, B8 haven’t been properly tested.
The same can be said for B8's run through Stage 2, with their two wins coming against GamerLegion and MiBR – both of whom have already finished their campaign. Both games extended to three maps, and both could’ve easily ended in B8’s loss.
Face value, B8’s record looks decent. But a closer look reveals that they’ve been a bit lucky to make it this far.
