Over that stretch, Gen.G have beaten Hanwha Life Esports (twice), KT Rolster (twice), and T1, but could not make it past Dplus KIA, who bested Gen.G once in the first week (0-2), and again in the final week of the regular season (1-2).
The latter match was Gen.G’s last fixture before the playoffs, and they did not impress. After winning the first map, Gen.G seemed to collapse and showed worrying signs in the mid-to-late game. They looked very out of character, mainly due to poor decision-making, which is the opposite of what Gen.G has become known for.
