Inner Circle Esports have been largely unsuccessful in their attempts to make a splash in bigger events this season. Even in lower-rated tournaments, they’ve not accomplished much, proving themselves as a serviceable tier-two squad.
Despite that tag, IC Esports cooked up a major upset in the first round of the BLAST Open Fall group stage, defeating Team Vitality 2-0, 13-8 on Anubis and 16-13 on Cache.
Results like that could suggest that Inner Circle Esports are capable of beating any team in the world, but realistically, it was just a fluke. It helped that Vitality are in very bad shape.
Despite that upset victory, Inner Circle Esports remain unproven and are still one of the main contenders to not qualify for the next stage of the tournament.

MOUZ Are Rounding Into Form
MOUZ have had a bumpy season, failing to find any consistent results. But of late, things have been looking up.
After an early elimination from Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major (12th-14th), MOUZ stepped up and won BLAST Bounty Summer with relative ease. They carried some of that momentum into the Esports World Cup, where MOUZ reached the quarterfinals.
MOUZ have been showing good form since May, and have been producing solid tournament runs – except for their unfortunate elimination from IEM Cologne Major.
They are 8-2 from their last 10 games, with just two losses against FUT Esports, who seem to be MOUZ’s kryptonite.
