Karmine Corp have been one of the best-performing and most consistent RLCS teams of the season. They notably won the Paris Major and placed top-four in the Esports World Cup
Spacestation Gaming are another team who’ve recently found serious momentum. They have been finding success mainly in domestic events, before placing top-eight at the Paris Major, and second in the Esports World Cup, where SSG proved they have the tools needed to compete for big trophies.
NRG deserve a mention too. Despite struggling at the Esports World Cup and the Paris Major, exiting the two events in ninth-12th, NRG are still a force to be reckoned with, who just happened to clash with in-form teams in the two events
A more likely title winners are Twisted Minds, who can be viewed as the second-best team attending the RLCS World Championship, mainly because they’ve been more consistent than Karmine Corp.
They have found some success in the European league, then placed second in the Paris Major, and exited the Esports World Cup in fifth-sixth, following a close loss against Team Falcons. But even though TM did not make it past the Falcons last time out, they have beaten Falcons three times before this season.
Gentle Mates are one of the outsiders to win the event, but this is a team that can be trusted to perform when needed.
