Sentinels Look Shaky
Sentinels have been looking very wonky this stage. They lost their first match of the Play-ins against ENVY (0-2), and while they looked better against 2GAME Esports in the lower bracket, they still showed cracks.
Luckily, Sentinels managed to avoid Ascend against 2GAME, which helped them come out ahead, as Sentinels aren’t good on that map. On the other side, they’ve not been great on any map and have actually seemed to slow down more the deeper the stage has gone.
Their defence, in particular, has been lacking, which explains the bad loss against ENVY in the upper bracket. On a more positive note, Sentinels tend to do better on defence.

KRU Esports started the Play-In stage with a 2-1 win against BESTIA, before they had to admit defeat against MIBR in the upper bracket.
The latter match ended in a bad loss, with 6-13 on Breeze and Sunset, and it could be viewed as a solid indication that KRU aren’t well-equipped to make a deep run here. They’ve yet to prove anyone otherwise.
