Team Heretics started Stage 2 with a 1-1 record. They lost to Team Liquid (0-2) in the opening week, and bounced back with a 2-0 sweep of Eternal Fire on Thursday.
The latter game kicked off with 13-10 on Lotus, before Heretics crushed EF on Haven, locking in a perfect 13-0. The latter map was an impressive display from Heretics, but in the greater picture, Heretics have looked rough.
They could not keep up with Liquid in the first week, and barely won against Eternal Fire on Lotus. Even during the VCT break, their performances on the international stage have left a lot to be desired.

Karmine Corp were one of the worst performers earlier in the season, and even their showing at the Esports World Cup was very concerning, ending in a ninth-12th place finish.
However, since the start of VCT Stage 2, Karmine Corp have looked rejuvenated. They finished the first week of play with a 2-0 record, sweeping Eternal Fire and GIANTX.
KC were not as successful when faced with a tougher opponent in Fnatic on Wednesday. However, despite losing the clash, Karmine Corp kept it close (14-16, 13-6, 15-17) and came extremely close to going 3-0.
After a rough run in the Kickoff and Stage 1, KC still have more to show. But their form is great.
