Team Liquid and Anyone’s Legend will meet for the first time this year in the third round low matches at the 2026 League of Legends World Championship. Both teams are 0-2 at the tournament and have delivered similarly average performances. Although Anyone’s Legend are considered favourites due to their LPL status, the gap between leagues has proven minimal. The article concludes that this match is a true toss-up, and suggests Team Liquid are an appealing outsider bet due to the negligible performance differences between the teams.

Team Liquid vs Anyone’s Legend Betting Predictions

Team Liquid and Anyone’s Legend will face off on Monday, October 26, in the third round low matches at the 2026 League of Legends World Championship, marking their first meeting of the year.

Anyone’s Legend enter this match as favourites, but there is very little to support that claim.

They hail from the LoL Pro League (LPL), which is considered a stronger league than the LoL Championship Series (LCS). But this event has proven that assumption wrong, as it's fair to argue the two leagues are much closer in quality than originally expected.

Even the two teams’ performances this tournament hardly separate them, with neither showing terrible nor great performances. This is a 50/50 match at best.

  • Team Liquid can hang with AL
  • Anyone’s Legend have not impressed
  • An upset is likely on the cards

Team Liquid Don’t Look Bad

Team Liquid have lost the first match of the tournament against CTBC Flying Oyster in a weird fashion, and they had to admit defeat to Bilibili Gaming in the second.

Going 0-2 is not a good look by any means, but the eye test proves that Liquid haven’t been terrible. Admittedly, they’ve not shown anything exceptional either, but it is not like they’ve gotten blown up in either game.

Two losses also don’t prove much, considering Liquid have looked much better throughout the split. This team is capable of more.

Anyone’s Legend Are Not That Strong

As LPL’s first seed, Anyone’s Legend have been expected to accomplish a lot more than going 0-2 this tournament. But things haven’t worked out for them, with defeats to Karmine Corp and Top Esports.

Both games were winnable, and it is not like AL played terribly. However, they also haven’t been amazing, so it is hard to say where exactly they stand ahead of what could be their final match of the tournament.

It does not help that Anyone’s Legend are known as a volatile team, so you don’t know what version of AL you’re going to get. While there are many uncertainties, one thing is for sure – Anyone’s Legend are not significantly better than Team Liquid.

No changes for Anyone’s Legend.

Verdict

Both teams are 0-2 but neither have looked particularly terrible, producing very similar performance quality-wise. So even though AL have the brand value and are viewed as the better side, mainly because they hail from LPL, the reality is much different.

The difference between the two teams – and what they’ve produced over the first two games – is negligible, making it fair to question why Anyone’s Legend is viewed as such massive favourites.
This is a winnable game for Liquid, who are a very inviting bet as outsiders.
