After upsetting Anyone’s Legend in the first round of LoL Worlds, Karmine Corp lost to LYON in a weird game.
The European squad were in a leading position for most of the game, but seemed a bit disorganised and did not approach team fights as well as we know they can. This led to a botched fight at the fourth dragon, which flipped the game upside down.
The game did get a bit sketchy when LYON failed to take advantage of their leading position, yet ultimately, it came down to KC’s errors that decided the match.
After such a display, it may be hard to be overly optimistic about Karmine Corp. But they showed a much better performance in the first round and have proven before they can play at a higher level than that.
