Team Secret have struggled in VCT Pacific Stage 2, ending Group Omega in fifth place, with a 1-5 record.
Throughout the group stage, Secret managed just one victory – against the struggling DRX in the first week of play – but have looked toothless in other matches, losing to VARREL, T1, Paper Rex, and DetonatioN FocusMe.
Those are not very inspiring results, granted Secret haven’t had high expectations put on them to begin with. So the question is whether Secret have had enough time to work on their issues and improve for the Play-In.

Xipto Esports Can Challenge VCT Teams
Xipto Esports (formerly 555) are one of the most dominant Challenger teams from the Southeast Asian region. While they haven’t won either of the VCL SEA splits, Xipto Esports roster placed third in Split 1 and second in Split 2, narrowly losing to Sharper Esports.
More recently, however, they won the Last Chance Qualifier to secure a spot in the Play-Ins, beating No Salary Peek and Fancy United twice.
The big question with Xipto is whether they are ready to take a step up in competition and challenge VCT teams given their lack of experience playing tier-1 squads.
On a more positive note, two of their players, including Surf and aLerT have previously played in the VCT, and Xipto will not necessarily face a tough opponent in the first round of play.
