Team Yandex vs GamerLegion Betting Tips – GamerLegion with a Huge Mountain to Climb at PARI Universe
Team Yandex face GamerLegion in the opening round of Group A at PARI Universe on October 22, in what is widely expected to be a one-sided Dota 2 match. Yandex, considered the top team globally, have secured podium finishes in their last five major tournaments and show no signs of slowing down. GamerLegion, meanwhile, have struggled against top-tier squads, recently faltering in high-profile events. With both teams fielding unchanged rosters, Yandex are heavily favored to win, likely securing a 2-0 sweep against GamerLegion.

This is expected to be a very one-sided game. Team Yandex are unquestionably the strongest Dota 2 team in the world, and in excellent shape, having placed top-three in the last five big events.
GamerLegion have not come close to matching those feats this year and have looked particularly shaky in the last few months, consistently struggling to challenge tier-1 teams.
Barring any major surprises, Team Yandex should dominate.
- Team Yandex are rightly viewed as favourites
- GamerLegion tend to struggle against tier-1 teams
- A 2-0 sweep for Yandex is likely

Team Yandex With High Expectations
Team Yandex are the highest-rated and most successful Dota 2 team in the scene. Despite not winning The International, Yandex have been effectively unstoppable since, picking up back-to-back titles from PGL Wallachia Season 9 and BLAST SLAM VIII, without showing any issues.
Given their explosive form and impressive results – with podium finishes across the last five big tournaments – Yandex are rightly viewed as the team to beat at PARI Universe, and a team that should not struggle to handle any lower-rated squad.

GamerLegion Look Iffy
GamerLegion have an impossible task in front of them, as they take on the world’s no.1 team, Team Yandex.
Even though GamerLegion have the experience of competing in big events, having featured in both PGL Wallachia Season 9 and BLAST SLAM VIII, their performance in the two tournaments tells a lot about their quality and ability to handle the world’s best teams.
Over their last 11 games, GamerLegion have accumulated six wins, yet their most notable win came against Team Liquid.
On the other side, GL have looked toothless in their clashes with higher-rated opponents in LGD Gaming, Xtreme Gaming, and Aurora Gaming.

Verdict
Team Yandex have established themselves as the world’s hottest team and will be expected to make a run for a trophy at PARI Universe – their third consecutive. GamerLegion, on the other side, have looked very shaky in their recent tournament endeavours, struggling against stronger opponents.
Given GamerLegion’s record when faced with Tier-1 teams, it is easy to see why they are expected to lose on Thursday. They’ve gotten blown out of the server by weaker teams than Yandex, so Thursday’s game is looking increasingly more like an impossible task.
