Crystal Palace and Everton are set for a closely fought Premier League match, given their similar recent forms and squad strengths. Experts suggest that neither side has a clear advantage, making a draw highly probable. Betting odds favor a draw at 3.4, and a 1-1 scoreline at 7 offers reasonable value. The key recommendation is to consider a draw in your bets for this fixture.

Everton have a 29-15 advantage against Crystal Palace, alongside 21 draws.

Crystal Palace Patchy in the EPL

Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace are 15th in the Premier League and seven points above the relegation zone. The Eagles have slipped down the table following a three-match winless run.

Palace held West Ham to a 0-0 draw in their most recent Premier League home game, allowing just 0.61 XG. The Eagles then lost back-to-back matches at Liverpool 3-1 and Bournemouth 3-0.

The London team reached the Conference League final on Thursday after beating Shakhtar Donetsk 2-1 at Selhurst Park. An own goal and Ismaila Sarr's second-half strike led Palace to a 5-2 aggregate win.

Everton Falling Behind the European Places

Everton's chances of a top-seven finish in the Premier League have declined after one win in six. David Moyes’ outfit have also gained just two points from their last four games.

The Toffees' winless run started with a 2-2 comeback draw at Brentford. Consecutive 2-1 defeats against Liverpool at home and West Ham away followed and Everton allowed over 1 XG in each loss.

The Merseysiders recovered with a 3-3 home draw with Man City. Everton conceded in the first half before Thierno Barry scored a brace and Jake O'Brien struck to earn a point.

Attacker Evann Guessand and defender Borna Sosa could return to the squad following recent injuries.

Oliver Glasner explained that Guessand returned to training recently after a knee issue and said, “Evann trained today, but just partly. It’s too early, so he doesn’t make the squad tomorrow. We have to decide on a daily basis.”

Everton (4-2-3-1): Jordan Pickford; Jake O'Brien, James Tarkowski, Michael Keane, Vitali Mykolenko; Timothy Iroegbunam, James Garner; Merlin Rohl, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Iliman Ndiaye; Beto

Idrissa Gueye missed the Man City match with a knock and is expected to return against Palace.

Defender Jarrad Branthwaite and winger Jack Grealish are sidelined due to injury.

Verdict

There’s little between Crystal Palace and Everton in terms of form and quality. An even contest is likely in the Premier League and a draw has good value.
