Man City have climbed up to second in the Premier League table after taking 12 points from five matches. Only league leaders Arsenal have sealed more points during this period.

The Citizens were unbeaten in nine consecutive games before a 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa. City responded with a 3-1 win at Swansea and a 3-1 home triumph over Bournemouth, where Haaland scored twice.

Pep Guardiola’s outfit notched a third consecutive win on Wednesday after beating Borussia Dortmund 4-1. Phil Foden scored twice and Haaland and Rayan Cherki also got on the scoresheet as City dominated with 1.98 XG.

Liverpool Form 


Arne Slot’s Liverpool have improved recently and have won three of their last five matches in all competitions.

The Reds thrashed Eintracht Frankfurt 5-1 away before losing 3-2 at Brentford a 3-0 to Crystal Palace. Liverpool then beat Aston Villa 2-0 in the Premier League and controlled the game with 1.19-0.41 XG.
