The run was snapped in Guimaraes where Gaizka Larrazabal scored late to secure a crucial 1-0 victory, getting it done with 29% possession.

Larrazabal opened the scoring again on the final matchday as the Geese drew 1-1 against Rio Ave. They had 20-6 shots including 2.44-0.75 xG in Rio Maior.
