Tottenham Out of Form

Thomas Frank’s Tottenham are struggling for form and are winless in 10 of their last 13 in all competitions.

Spurs lost two games in a row against Nottingham Forest 3-0 and Liverpool before beating Crystal Palace 1-0. A three-match winless streak followed, including draws against Brentford 0-0 and Sunderland 1-1.

Frank’s side couldn’t extend their unbeaten run and lost 3-2 at Bournemouth. Mathys Tel scored first, Spurs conceded twice and Joao Palhinha equalised before Bournemouth struck in the 95th minute.

Tottenham (4-3-3): Antonin Kinsky; Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Djed Spence; Archie Gray, Joao Palhinha, Wilson Odobert; Randal Kolo Muani, Richarlison, Xavi Simons

Midfield duo Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma are on AFCON duty.

So that's, of course, less than six months - both are positive and improving.”

Forward Evann Guessand is on international duty and unavailable. Midfielders Amadou Onana and Ross Barkley and defender Tyrone Mings are injured.

Verdict

Tottenham look low on confidence after some poor recent performances. In-form Aston Villa can take advantage and win in the FA Cup.
