Ararat Armenia vs Sparta Prague Tips & Predictions – Goals Expected in the Europa League
Ararat Armenia take on Sparta Prague in a European match where goals are expected. Ararat Armenia have scored in every home game this season, including European fixtures. Sparta Prague, despite being favorites, often concede, leading to a high likelihood of another high-scoring match. Historically, Sparta advanced 6-2 on aggregate in their previous two encounters. The key recommendation is to expect over 2.5 goals, with a strong chance both teams will score.

Two Previous Meetings
These two teams clashed just twice so far, both matches taking place last season in the Conference League qualifiers. Sparta Prague advanced with a 6-2 win on aggregate.
Hosts Enter This Match as Underdogs
Ararat Armenia's European journey started in early June in the UCL qualifiers, where they eliminated Riga and Shamrock Rovers before losing to Celje 3-2 on aggregate and dropping to the UEL.
They were tagged underdogs against Universitatea Craiova, the Romanian champions, but advanced 2-1 on aggregate (1-1 on the road, won 1-0 at home). The opposition had a total of 14-4 shots on target in these two ties.
Ararat Armenia are currently third in the Armenian top flight with 16 points after seven rounds. After wrapping up the previous month with a 2-1 loss to Pyunik, they won two games in a row in September against Ararat 1-0 and Syunik 3-0.
Sparta Inconsistent Lately
Sparta Prague have played just two European games so far, battling against Lyon in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers. They won 2-1 at home, but suffered a heavy 3-0 loss in France and got placed into the UEL main phase.
Head manager Brian Priske was under huge pressure after losing the big Czech derby to Slavia Prague 3-0 in late August, followed by a 2-1 road defeat to Hradec Kralove.
The Garnets finally returned to winning ways last weekend, outplaying Jablonec 2-0 in front of the home crowd. John Mercado and Josimar Alcocer appeared on the scoresheet.

These two sides battled in the Conference League qualifiers last year, Sparta Prague winning 6-2 on aggregate. Ararat Armenia score regularly at home, so I predict another high-scoring contest.
