The Chiefs kicked of the campaign at home to the Broncos, and blew out their AFC North rivals in a 31-10 victory.
They backed that up with a 33-30 overtime win against Indianapolis, before heading to Miami for a 24-10 success against the Dolphins.
Kansas City then downed the Raiders in Las Vegas, 30-27, before making it five-in-a-row with a 22-6 win against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Chiefs failed to get to 6-0 though, as their offense was shut down in a 20-3 defeat in Seattle on Sunday Night Football.

Denver return home riding a three-game win streak that has improved their record to 5-2.
The Broncos opened with a 31-10 defeat at Kansas City, but rebounded quickly with back-to-back victories at home.
They downed Jacksonville 20-13 and the Los Angeles Rams 20-26, only to then lose 24-14 when they visited San Francisco.
Denver have not lost since though, beginning this three-game winning run with a 23-17 victory at the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Broncos backed that up by upsetting Seattle at home, 17-14 in overtime, before heading to Arizona to beat the Cardinals 30-16.
Verdict
Kansas City have made a flying start with Patrick Mahomes back this season, but Mile High has not been a happy hunting ground for him in recent years.
