The Tigers opened the season with three straight non-conference games, and came out on top in all three of them.

They blew out Arkansas-Pine Bluff 54-14, and backed that up by beating Kansas 38-21 and Troy 27-17.

Missouri failed to make it four-in-a-row in their conference opener, losing 31-24 at Mississippi State, but their response has been nothing short of impressive.

The Tigers bounced back with a stunning 45-17 demolition of a top-10 Florida team, before holding Texas A&M to just six points in a 27-6 victory.

Ole Miss Bounced Back From First Loss

Ole Miss enter this matchup having rebounded from their first loss of the season with a victory that took them to 4-1.

The Rebels kicked off the campaign with back-to-back non-conference wins, beating Louisville 41-38 and Charlotte 41-9.

That set them up for a huge SEC opener against LSU and Lane Kiffin, and they got the better of their former head coach thanks to a 32-24 victory.

Ole Miss were brought back down to Earth a week later by a 52-28 defeat at Florida, but they rebounded in emphatic fashion.

The Rebels pounced on a sloppy and ill-disciplined Vanderbilt team to record a 52-17 victory last weekend.

Ole Miss bounced back strongly from the loss to Florida, and they are rightly favourites at home.

However, it is tough to ignore how good Missouri have been in recent weeks, and they have enough about them to cover the spread as an underdog.
