UFC Fight Night Preview
The headline fight sees home favourite – and ranked contender – Rafael Fiziev take on Manuel Torres in the lightweight division.
Fiziev is currently ranked number 11 in the division despite suffering four defeats in his previous four fights – although those losses have come at the hands of top 10 contenders and the current 155lb champion.
The 33-year-old dropped a couple of decisions to Justin Gaethje – who just won the lightweight title at The White House – while the other two losses came at the hands of Mateusz Gamrot and Mauricio Ruffy, with one of those injuries being due to an injury.
He knows one more defeat will send him plummeting out of the rankings, and looking to inflict that loss on him is Torres, who has bounced back from a knockout loss to Ignacio Bahamondes in September 2024.
The 31-year-old Mexican scored back-to-back stoppage wins in 2025, beating Drew Dober and Grant Dawson in the first round, but can he make it three-in-a-row to propel himself into the lightweight rankings?
