They were one of the worst performers in the recently concluded Volleyball Nations League 2026, finishing in 17th place with a 3-9 record, just barely enough to avoid relegation.
Pre-tournament friendlies saw them lose to Poland and Italy without winning a single set, while beating Ukraine 3-2.
Croatia Face Another Tough Test
As expected, Croatia were not given much space in the EuroVolley 2026 opening clash against Italy, suffering a convincing 3-0 defeat, although they offered solid resistance in the second and third sets.
