They had a great run in the European Golden League 2026, finishing 3rd in the regular stage with a perfect 6-0 record, but then lost to Sweden in the semifinals 6-2 on aggregate over two matches.
Preparations for EuroVolley 2026 were disastrous, registering four straight losses, two against Belgium in straight sets, and Spain 3-1 & 3-0.
Poland Among the Main Title Contenders
Poland are among the top favorites to go all the way at EuroVolley 2026, currently at 9/1 odds to win the gold medal. They finished in fifth place three years ago after losing to eventual winners Turkey in the quarterfinals.
The Polish squad was just one victory short of making it to the Volleyball Nations League 2026 final tournament, finishing just under the playoff line with a 7-5 record.
