Serbia were surely hoping for more than two victories after four World Cup 2027 qualifying rounds, but truth be told they rarely could count on big names like Bogdan Bogdanovic, Nikola Milutinov, Nikola Jokic and others in this cycle.

Switzerland were so close to beating Serbia in Belgrade when these two teams locked horns in late 2025. Serbia are once again dealing with a lot of absentees and likely will slow down to preserve fitness after establishing a lead here. I am backing the home side to win in a +21.5 handicap.
