Amanda Serrano 2-0 Already This Year
Amanda Serrano is the defending WBA and WBO women's featherweight champion with a professional record of 49-4-1 (32 KOs).
Serrano made her professional debut back in March 2009 and went unbeaten in her first 15 outings before losing her first world title fight in April 2012, dropping a unanimous decision to Frida Wahlberg.
She rebounded quickly from that loss though, rattling off six straight knockout wins to earn a shot at the WBO lightweight world title.
The Puerto Rican star took this big opportunity too, stopping Maria Elena Maderna in the sixth-round to become world champion for the first time in her career.
Serrano continue to stack up wins over the next couple of years, and in February 2016 she became a two-weight world champion by knocking out Olivia Gerula in the first round to claim the WBO title.
She went on to win the WBO bantamweight title in April 17, stopping Dahiana Santana in the eighth round, before stepping up to light-welterweight the following year to beat Yamila Esther Reynoso for the WBO title.
The 37-year-old later beat Heather Hardy on points for the WBO, interim WBC and WBAN featherweight titles, before successfully claiming and defending the WBC, WBO and IBO featherweight titles with a ninth-round knockout of Daniela Romina Bermudez and a points victory over Yamileth Mercado.
Those wins help Serrano set up a huge fight with Katie Taylor for the undisputed lightweight crown in April 2022, but this time she suffered title fight disappointment as she lost to the Irish ace by split decision.
‘The Real Deal’ put that behind her over the next few years to maintain her status as the best female featherweight on the planet, and after a run of five consecutive victories she again stepped back in the boxing ring with Taylor.
The result was the same though, as she lost by unanimous decision in the rematch in November 2024, before dropping the trilogy fight by majority decision in July 2025.
She has put those losses behind her though, following up a points win over Reina Tellez in January of this year with a second-round stoppage of Cheyenne Hanson.
Lucrecia Anabella Manzur On 5-Fight Win Streak
Lucrecia Anabella Manzur is a 27-year-old Argentinian fighter that has compiled a record of 14-4 (7 KOs).
Manzur has fought for and won some minor titles during his career so far, but she has never fought for a world title.
She has claimed this opportunity by rebounded from a TKO loss to Daniela Bermudez in September 2023 with five consecutive victories.
The Argentinian fighter got back on track with a unanimous decision win over Laura Soledad Griffa, and then followed that up with a sixth-round stoppage of Paola Pamela Benavidez.
Manzur then beat Marcela Ellana Acuna on points to complete a successful 2024, before registering a fifth-round stoppage of Lucrecia Belen Arrieta in her only outing of 2025.
She has fought once already this year, taking her win streak to five fights with a points win over Nahir Erlin back in March.
