Anthony Joshua vs Kristian Prenga Betting Tips – Joshua To Make Quick Work Of Prenga
Anthony Joshua is heavily favored to defeat Kristian Prenga in their upcoming heavyweight bout, seen largely as a tune-up for a potential clash with Tyson Fury. Joshua’s impressive record of 29 wins (26 by knockout) and his recent run of stoppages suggest he should be too powerful for Prenga, who, despite a 16-fight win streak, has not faced world-class opposition. The recommendation is clear: back Joshua to finish this fight early as he looks ahead to bigger challenges.

- Anthony Joshua has won 29 of his 33 professional fights
- 26 of Anthony Joshua’s 29 career wins have come by knockout

Anthony Joshua Seeking 30th Professional Win
Anthony Joshua is a two-time former world heavyweight champion with a professional record of 29-4 (26 KOs).
Joshua became a world champion for the first time in April 2016 when he knocked out Charles Martin in the second round to claim the IBF title.
He successfully defended the title with a seventh-round knockout of Dominic Breazeale and a third-round stoppage of Eric Molina in the third, before knocking out the legendary Wladmir Klitschko in the 11th round to claim the WBA (Super) and IBO titles.
The now 36-year-old then stopped Carlos Takam in the 10th, before adding another world title when beat Joseph Parker on points in March 2018 to claim the WBO crown.
Joshua’s reign continued with a seventh-round dismissal of Alexander Povetkin, only to end in stunning fashion in June 2019, when his US debut was wrecked by a seventh-round knockout loss to Andy Ruiz Jr.
‘AJ’ regained the belts several months later when he beat Ruiz Jr on points, and in his first defence of them he knocked out Kubrat Pulev in seven rounds.
However, his second reign would prove to be brief as he lost back-to-back meetings with former cruiserweight kingpin Oleksandr Usyk, losing via unanimous decision and then split decision.
He bounced back with a points victory over Jermaine Frankle, and followed that up with three straight knockout victories to earn a world title fight, beating Robert Helenius in seven, Otto Wallin in five, and Francis Ngannou two.
Joshua’s attempt to become a three-time world champion ended in failure as he was knocked out in the fifth by Daniel Dubois last September, but he did bounce back just before Christmas as he stopped Jake Paul in the sixth.
Kristian Prenga Riding 16-Fight Win Streak
Kristian Prenga is an Albanian heavyweight with a professional record of 20-1 (20 KOs).
Prenga made his debut in 2016, but despite fighting for just over a decade he has never been anywhere near a world title shot.
His sole defeat came in 2017 when he dropped an eight-round decision to Giovanni Auriemma, and he has rebounded from that loss with 16 straight wins.
The 35-year-old fought three times last year, following up a second-round knockout of Juan Torres with first-round demoltiions of Willie Jake Jr and Brandon Carmack.
‘The Eagle’ then kicked off 2026 by knocking out Joe Jones in less than two minutes back in February.
Verdict
All of Prenga’s wins have come via knockout, but his suggested punching power is likely to be nothing that Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn are concerned about.
This fight has been made to get Joshua ready for Fury, and we fully expect ‘AJ’ to make light work of his opponent.
