FUT Esports Look Strong

Before their Esports World Cup campaign, magic also showed promising signs at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026: European Qualifier, which they won with wins against Walczaki (2-0), Gentle Mates (2-0, twice), and Ninjas in Pyjamas (2-0).
Admittedly, magic have yet to find much success against elite teams, so a deep run in the EWC is unlikely. However, they are in excellent shape, with a 6-2 record in their last eight outings, including wins against teams of a similar calibre to FUT Esports.

FUT Esports took down MOUZ during the group stage, which is promising. However, given MOUZ haven’t looked that potent in France, that success should be taken with a grain of salt and shouldn’t be the main reason FUT is the better team in Wednesday’s affair.
Magic have been showing good things since the end of June, and are in good form, having beaten teams of a similar calibre to FUT, so it is hard to explain why Magic are viewed as such big underdogs here.
