This is an interesting game between two dark horses to win it all, but also two teams who have been slightly underwhelming in the group stage, both having suffered losses against Team Vitality.
Global Esports did better in their clash with the Bees, nearly winning the series, whereas LOUD have looked stronger in the weeks leading up to the tournament.
On paper, this looks like a close game, but if we look at the teams’ ceiling, LOUD should be viewed as favourites.

LOUD Are Dangerous
LOUD entered VALORANT Champions 2026 as dangerous dark horses to make a run for the trophy, and while they’ve not dominated the group stage, LOUD remain a threat.
LOUD kicked off the tournament with a 2-0 sweep of EDward Gaming before they had to admit defeat to Team Vitality in the Group B Winners Match. In the game, LOUD got stomped on Ascent, but showed a lot more fight on Summit, eventually running out of steam and lost 17-19.
Despite going 1-1, LOUD are not a weak team. On the contrary, this is a very experienced roster, which includes lukxo, who is one of the best VALORANT players in the world.
Rarely phased by the pressure, LOUD are often trusted to deliver.

Global Esports Have Their Strengths
Global Esports started VALORANT Champions with a close 1-2 loss against Team Vitality, to which they added a 2-0 sweep of EDward Gaming.
This is a promising run from Global Esports, who are a very strong team. Their biggest strength does not come from the firepower, but rather GE’s ability to prepare for their opponents and cook up a strategy that puts them in an advantageous position.
This could work in Global Esports’ favour on Sunday; however, it remains to be seen how GE will handle LOUD’s firepower.

Verdict
This one is hard to call, as it is a clash between two very unique and strong teams. With Global Esports, you can be sure they’ll have a strategy ready to make the day harder for LOUD, while LOUD are a very experienced roster that can deliver on big stages and has a lot of firepower.
No result would be surprising, but with LOUD having lukxo, their ceiling appears higher.
