M80 made it through Stage 1 of the IEM Cologne Major, but are now just one loss away from packing their bags. This is not surprising, as M80 travelled to Germany as one of the lowest-rated teams that no one had to make it to Stage 3.

Legacy Have to Bounce Back
Legacy haven’t looked as good as expected in Cologne, going 1-2 in Stage 2. The expectations put on this team were relatively high following their title run at the CS Asia Championships 2026 in May, but they’ve yet to show the same form in Germany.
The Brazilian outfit kicked off the Major with a tough 8-13 loss against MiBR, then they bounced back by beating the unconvincing FlyQuest (13-7), and slipped against Monte (11-13) in Round 3.
One of Legacy’s top players, arT has managed to perform well, averaging a 1.38 rating over the three maps played. However, dumau hasn’t been as effective as expected, with an underwhelming 1.05 rating, ahead of latto at 1.04.
Legacy have proven before what they’re capable of. But so far at the Major, Legacy have looked like a shadow of their former selves.
