Monte Can Cause Upsets
Monte have done relatively well in Stage 2. They bested BIG 13-8 in the first round, then narrowly lost to G2 Esports (19-22) in the second round, and bounced back with a 13-11 victory against Legacy.
While Monte haven’t shown anything spectacular, they have proven earlier this season that they are capable of great things. In April, they placed second in DraculaN Season 6 and won CCT Season 3 Global Finals. To that, they added an early exit from PGL Astana, ending the event in ninth-11th place.
Monte are not among the top contenders to make it through Stage 2, but they have upset potential.
